Overnight Cold Brewed Iced Latte

Serves: 4-6 Ready in: 30 mins + overnight soaking

Begin the cold brew coffee concentrate the day before and enjoy on its own or add flavoured syrups for sweetness. Vanilla, caramel, salted caramel or whatever takes your fancy.


  • 1 cup coarsely ground coffee beans
  • 1 litre room temperature water

Per Serve

  • ½ cup cold brew coffee
  • ½-3/4 cup full fat milk
  • 2 Tbsp flavoured syrup such as vanilla or caramel - optional
  • 1 cup ice cubes


The day before place ground coffee and water in a jug stir, cover and set aside for 6 -12 hours. Place in the fridge if you prefer. Strain the mixture through a coffee filter or double layer of kitchen towel placed inside a sieve. Store coffee concentrate in the fridge and use as desired.

To assemble an Iced latte, place ice in a tall glass, add ½ cup coffee concentrate, syrup (if using) and top up with ice cold milk. 


Store the coffee concentrate in the fridge for up to a week. You could add a scoop of ice cream or top with whipped cream and chocolate syrup for a home-made starbucks type drink.
